Bad Habits: Develops crushes quickly, lacks stability in her relationships [ both plutonic and romantic ], hot-headed, tends to over exhert herself, and has a dirty mouth, smoker.
Personality: Brave, smug, confident, playful, and brash, Vienna jumps into things with both feet and doesn't look back. She has no problem saying what's on her mind and those outspoken thoughts and feelings are likely to be punctuated with a few choice expletives. This girl calls it like she sees it and doesn't put up with any disrespect. While Vinny enjoys getting mixed up in a good brawl, she will not tolerate bullying in the slightest. She has a big heart and will willingly sacrifice her own safety to protect those who cannot protect themselves. One of her biggest downfalls is that Vienna can be proud and stubborn. She's great and she knows it but tends to get involved in things that are way over her head; and she has a hard time admitting these faults and asking for help. Vienna also completely hates people pointing out her girly traits or calling her out on having a crush. She will often react unfavorably and sometimes can't seem to contain punching the living shite out of anyone who does so.

Vienna is tall and lean with lightly bronzed skin and a smattering of freckles that reflects her time spent outdoors. Tousled sandy hair is always pulled back in a ratty braid, the too-short loose ends falling to frame her confident emerald eyes. Vinny strives for physical perfection [ V: BECAUSE IT'S GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH! NOT FOR PUNCHING PEOPLE! ]and has worked hard through her teen years to attain the muscular tone in her arms, legs and stomach. However, she has a thin bone structure and consistently wraps her wrists and ankles with K.T. Tape to keep from damaging the tendons or bones. She generally wears a sports bra or wifebeater paired with camo coloured shorts or baggy cargo pants and always a pair of leather cut-off gloves. Vinny doesn't much care for shoes so can often be found bare footed. When shoes become a must, Vienna stomps around in half-laced black steel toe boots. She has a tattoo on her back between her shoulder blades.

Vienna isn't really close with either of her parents. The prim and proper Annika and Matthias simply don't approve of her rough and tumble, rebelious personality. They spend their days praying Vienna will get through this 'phase' sooner than later and become the upstanding young woman they expect her to be. Matthias is a wealthy buisnessman with one of those smiles that can weaken the knees of the most pious nun. Unfortunately he spends so much of his time wooing potential clients that it has left little room for family bonding and closeness and has driven a wedge between himself and his wife. This has lead to a marriage that seems almost nothing more than a partnership.
Annika, once a gentle and caring mother, has turned cold and aloof due to her husband's lack of attention and constant infidelities. She has projected her bitterness towards Matthias onto Vienna because she resembles her father greatly, having received that coaxing smile and deep emerald pools. Annika frets over and cottles her 12 year old son, Velenti, and sometimes attempts to keep Vienna away from the boy resulting in almost non-stop arguments between mother and daughter.
Velenti is the only reason Vienna sticks around 'that hellhole'. She has a deep seeded need to protect her younger brother from feeling ostracized and would do, quite literally, anything for him. Velenti is a gentle spirit with a soft voice who enjoys animals and spending time with Vienna in her greenhouse. He has cerebral palsy which left him confined to a wheelchair and Vienna can't help but admire the way he looks at the world.

At a young age little Vienna was pampered and well cared for. With her father's wealth and mother's doting, the child had access to nearly anything she wanted. Around the age of five her parents started to realize how much she abhored being stuffed into those frilly little dresses and hair bows and being pranced around in front of other families like some sort of prized show-dog. Vinny would look for any opportunity to slip away from the soirees that made her feel suffocated to go climb trees or jump in puddles. 7 years into her life, Velenti was born. At only a few months old, doctors would rush in and out of their home saying that her little brother was 'sick'. Annika spent a lot of time crying and would sometimes snap at little Vienna for simply going into the boy's room. She spend the first several years of her brother's life barely knowing him at all.
In the years to come, Vienna would tolerate less and less of Annika's insistence on frills and lace and curtseys. She would come home with scrapes and bruises and Annika would get calls from the local mothers frantically yelling that little Vinny had, yet again, sent one of their children home bleeding or with a broken nose. Her father finally decided to send her to a private boarding school for girls. At the age of 15 when the Headmistress found her half dressed in the broom closet with one of the other girls, Vienna was promptly removed from the school. Velenti was 8 years old when Vienna returned home and the two of them regarded one another as near strangers.
Over the next four years, Vienna and Velenti would become very close. She would wheel him around, take him out, make him his meals, read to him. Vinny poured herself into caring for her young sibling and training in a more cohesive fighting style, affected for the better by her brother's gentle nature. She 'attended' a public high school where her grades suffered and she spent more time beating up boys than doing much actual learning. When she and Velenti discovered a mutual passion for gardening and flowers, Vienna built them a greenhouse. There is a section dedicated to Velenti where she grows white and purple bellflowers. "They remind me of the stars. Wouldn't it be lovely to float freely among all those beautiful stars?" was what he'd said to her to inspire such a garden.
On her way home one night after purchasing some new flowers to add to the greenhouse, Vienna took a short cut through a park. She stumbled upon about 5 men trying to hustle a young girl. Throwing herself into them, no holds barred, Vinny managed to knock two of them unconscious and caused enough chaos for the young girl to run. Unfortunately, three of the gang members remained standing and they had actual weapons. She fought tooth and nail but her alone simply wasn't enough to take them all out. Somewhere in the fray, Vienna was stabbed with something. Freaked out by the amount of blood, the criminals fled. The girl scraped up what was left of the flowers and continued on her walk home where she collapsed on the stairs and woke up in some sort of star glittered black bowl??
