PAST LIVES

A flash of light appeared out of nowhere and engulfed everything. The light bathed all realities but one. One reality remained unaffected by the light's powerful magic. The reason this reality remained immune is because magic did not exist in it. Realities where magic existed became one and fused with the untouched one. The places where magic existed no longer stay, but the characters from it live on.

Situated in the backside of Oregon, citizens from the town of Neverend are experiencing a phenomenon like no other. Magic did exist and so do the people who used it. People all over the town are remembering their past lives as storybook characters. Many of these awakened citizens come from faraway lands.

Many awakened citizens are realizing magic does not exist in this new setting, but that doesn't mean it doesn't in a way though. Artifacts also traveled with the awakened and unawakened storybook characters. Artifacts are items with residual magical energies that allow people to cast magic. The Artifcats seem to be immune to the powerful magic that brought them here.
