THE STORY OF A WARRIOR
What happens when a Sailor Senshi, or Guardian Knight, or any of their protectors fall in battle? Are they forgotten until they are picked up like forgotten toys? Generations of Sailor Senshi and Guardian Knights have fought, bled, and died in worlds and universes of Sailor Moon. They have fought and died in the past, the present, and the future. But where do these brave warriors go when they have died for their cause? Where do their villain counter parts go to seek their eternal rest?
For those who carry the mark of the Stars they return to the place of their beginning.
To the Galaxy Cauldron.
Cosmos, the believer of choice and freedoms to choose to love, to trust, in justice and in friendship, has been fighting against her sister Chaos since the beginning of time. Chaos who seeks to possess, control, and destroy what it can not own by force, has fought Cosmos again and again for dominance in their battle. Sometimes Chaos wins, and the cities, worlds, even solar systems fall to darkness. Sometimes Cosmos wins and for a time, there is peace and prosperity. But neither side can remain out of balance for long before their eternal conflict begins anew.
A new world is being born. Forged out of what has been discarded, left behind. Heroes and Villains, Queens and Kings, are all being summoned to the Galaxy Cauldron to decide who will be sent to the battle field once more to fight for their side. It is a contest of wills, a contest of hearts, a contest of minds. One side fighting for Good, or one side fighting for Evil, will establish dominance in a new world -- a new story. A wager between Cosmos and Chaos has brought them to seek out their greatest champions to do battle in the Cauldron. The side that wins will be the side that has the most hearts won to their cause. Both have agreed to stay away from the battle field until the Day of Judgement. Until then, death is but another rebirth, corruption and purification but tools of a war for the hearts and souls of the chosen champions from other worlds.
Characters from previous games run by Chaos (Joy) or Sifr (Kat), or even from other websites, complete with memories and histories are welcome to apply. All characters must be tied to some canon character in Sailor Moon or the "Solar Millenium" a side plotline by the storyteller to explain the presence of Outer Guardian Knights - the Sailor Senshi's male counterparts. A general idea of Sailor Moon and the willingness to be flexible are appreciated.
This game is From December 1st til April 1st at which point there will be a 1 week "Pause" while OOC matters are discussed on the game. All posts are welcome but End- without exception- on April 1st, or, if by player majority sooner.
The Goal of our first story arch is to establish groups friendships without death getting in the way. It is also to clarify the idea and concept of "Good" and "Evil" in the context of Sailor Moon mythos -- in the way their world works, not ours. If you are not comfortable with discussions on the validity of Good and Evil this really isn't the game for you.
At the end of the four month time period (or sooner if by player approval) we will decide if we're going to run a Hero Game, where all players are playing Heroes (and players will have a chance to in character choose how to set up their group/change character sheets completely, etc) OR if we're going to play a Villain Game. At which point "Death" will no longer be "You respawn!" and something much more serious. RPG's work best when players play one side of the equation and not both, and this is the player base's opportunity to let the 'characters' decide where they want to go and how to get there... This game also has an end, a planned end...
There are no NPC's to hide behind, just good old fashioned player interaction.
