Where was the darkness? The numbing weight of the rocks that pinned her down was gone. She had fallen asleep, but was it really sleep? As she drifted off, a coldness overtook her, but it was now gone. Not only was the coldness gone, but there was a light blinding her. After nearly a week in darkness, the light of where ever she was nearly made it unbearable for her to open her eyes. She brought her hands up, gasping and snarling at the same time to cover her eyes from the light. However, her hands wound up touching the snout of a dog shaped mask. She didn’t remember putting it on… but she liked it.
BC kept the mask on, finding comfort in it somehow. She had died in her sailor outfit, but now, she was fully covered in what felt like a thick cloak. The cloth felt protective and comforting. BC liked it. As she sat there, adjusting to the light, more realizations came to light. In her hand, there was what felt like the stem of a flower. Leaning over it, she opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was a brilliant tri colored rose of warm colors… like a small sun in the flower, but there was an imperfection- a black petal. Normally, she wouldn’t like this kind of thing, right? A black rose petal seemed sinister, but BC felt herself smiling. She liked it.
Upon inspecting the area further, BC found a letter on her lap… It was folded into the shade of the sun. How ironic. Opening the letter, a gasp left her lips as she gazed upon the elegant ink and read. Who left this? Where was she? This woman… she spoke of Travis. Standing, BC shook, clutching the letter tightly. Whoever wrote this, BC needed to speak to them. They knew what was going on. Before, going to a place known as the Dark Kingdom would have frightened her, but she felt a cool rationale leading her. The Dark Kingdom? It sounded down right pleasant now. Turning, she adjusted her mask and turned from the mirrors, ignoring the other frozen souls in the arena and the two mirrors as she began to make her way towards the skull that laid atop a building to the south.
Skulls are dark right?
[[OOC: If you want to join, go for it. You’ll just wake up as she’s leaving and distract her a bit]]

The man appeared from the portal to the Nemesis, and hailed her before she could leave. "Hail, Masquerader! We have similar fashion sense! Art thou a child of Light or Night!" He was waiting, hands on his stomach, fingers pointing down, with his thumb, thumbs hooked where his belt would be. He remained calm, and leaned slightly back, projecting an aura of docility, of non-violent intent. "The Night's Children call me Nanashi, and know me as their brother in arms." He knew the DD Girls would be shortly behind him.
"I can answer some questions you may have about this place. I also have cookies? If that helps. No, that makes me sound like I have a van and no liscence plate... Ignore that, unless you like cookies. I also have Nanaimo Bars." He grumbled a moment, before pulling a small notebook out of his cloak, and flipping a few pages. "Damnit all, I had better notes on my seducing to the darkside pitch. Give me just a moment here..."
He flipped a page. "I am your father? No, that's only on someone with Venetian red hair, yours is too dark to be related to me... I can be your father if you want me to? That is more if you need one..." Flip. Flip. Flip. "I am your ranking officer, if you care... I have food... Damnit all, someone removed my notes!"

She stopped when she heard the voice. Turning, BC stared at the masked man. He appeared from a portal, and she instantly felt something strange. Huh. That was odd. A few weeks ago, this man appearing from the portal would have risen so many alarms in her head. She’d have ran. BC would have ran to go find Travis… Travis. Travis. Travis. That Travis. Was he here too? Where was he? She needed to talk to him… No she needed to kill him. Her eyes stared wide at the masked man as she thought of Travis, his words nothing but a distant echo in the background as her mind was consumed by thoughts of Travis. The black fire that had clung to her coat streaked up towards the sky as her thoughts grew more violent.
However, then, they were gone like a flash in the pan. BC remembered that someone was talking to her. Looking at him, she nodded in a somewhat dazed manner. Child of light or night..? What was she? After spending so much time in the darkness… BC couldn’t imagine herself as a child of light. ”Night,” she said curtly, continuing to stare at him. She shook her head, as if trying to shake out thoughts from her head.
As he began to ramble, asking questions then giving baseless answers followed by more questions, BC found herself more and more irritated. She didn’t have time for this nonsense! Clutching the letter, the girl faced the man silently. The small white orb of light that followed her hid behind her back. The pitch black fire around the orb grew out like a dark sun growing behind the girl. Gritting her teeth behind the mask, she growled out in an intimidating voice. The girl’s very aura was drenched in a dark chaos. The eyes to her dog like mask glowed a grisly red as she spoke.
”Shut up before I make you shut up.”

zdt8UeC11-12 1d12 on mind or soul, no modifiers. Target number of 8. - Fail! Nanashi was surprised by the surge of adrenaline in his body. It was alien to a man like him. Snipers, Clowns, Senshi, Gods. They had never made him break his poise. He felt the sensation crawling through his body as if it was detached from him. He shuddered involuntarily. And traced the source. This damn mask. It was eroding his self-control. Bloody magic. I am getting to used to leaning on it.He grit his teeth, restraining the urge to kill the whelp. His inner dragon screamed for him to strike, destroy the threat. The only other times he had felt this were when he faced Senshi in combat. But there had been an exhiliration, not a hatred. A raw hatred was coursing through him, ordering him to attack. And once more. It would have brought a tear, had he that power left. His breathing quickened just enough to be noticeable. His radiating emotions were amusement, a tinge of fear, a warmth of happiness from the adrenaline, raw hatred... "That... I have not felt in so long..." He was panting just a tad. "I shall take you to Queen Metallia post haste." He chuckled a little, before humming a few bars of a song in the Neapolitan language, and then breaking fully into it.1-12 1d12, on mind/body/soul average, target number of 8, -7 bonus for Singing skill. As he finished the thirty seconds or so of song to regain his concentration, singing a small praise to the girl who made his heart leap just like one other person had. "You are of fine pedigree, Schwarzesonne. You make my heart sing with joy and terror!" And he extended an arm into the portal that opened behind him. "Our Mistress awaits! Girls?" He called to the DD girls through the portal he still had open. "Please give our newest an honour guard to Queen Metallia?" (Nanashi is now at 20 EP) (Portal 1 goes to the Nemesis, with Nanashi standing infront of it. Portal 2 goes to Metallia, with Nanashi standing behind it.) 1-12·1-12

BC continued to stare at him. As the man quivered, she sneered behind her mask. His haughty attitude from before wasn’t what she was seeing now. As he spoke again, BC looked up to the sky, not giving him much attention. The man was beneath her. When he mentioned the name ‘Metallia,’ she shot her glance towards him… Only to have him begin singing like a mad man.
How this is insane man know the woman who wrote her the letter? Even if he did know what was going on here, his singing was daft and annoying. Impatience boiled in her as the fire around her flared once more, this time growing darker, like the abyss. She wasn’t sure what powers this fire granted, but this man was annoying her. She wasn’t going to put up with him. BC had put up with a lot in the past year, but no more.
The fire would begin to drain his energy slowly, attempting to sap at his strength while he opened the portals. If she succeeded, he would find himself going into unconsciousness from the energy drain of the girl’s fire. BC wasn’t going to play around like he did. She was ruthless and to the point.

A Dark shadow slipped from the open portal along with three women in somewhat skanky wear and of skin in the blue-green hues. The woman just stood near the portal, but the dark Shadow kept moving until it was coiled against Peter's side where it changed and drew the energy drain into itself, giving forth an abundence of energy- that darkened and swirled BC's own aura.
"Now now.." A dark, alto voice came from the depths of the shadows themselves as they solidified into a figure with long, black hair. She wore a long purple dress with longer purple nails and a dark glint in her eyes. "Now Now m'pets... I have not brought you here to fight each other. I have not summoned you both if not for a purpose."
She caressed Peter's cheek, bestowing him a small ammount of energy (20 ep) and moving toward BC to study her.. IF the darling attempted to hit her she'd find herself hitting darkness itself. She trailed one long purple nail under her chin and pulled it toward the starlight above. "Now Now precious... This is my Herald. He is trying very hard to behave himself. I expect the same of you."
She pressed the nail against the hollow point of her jaw. "You'll find, little girl, that there are much worse things then death. Besides. I have decided to grant you a chance at revenge. In this sacred garden your once love lays sleeping... To awaken in some point or fashion... Upon my whim, of course..."
She let BC's chin go and she moved back toward Peter. "But no fighting in this place. Both good and evil sleep here. Chosen by myself or by Cosmos and they shall not be harmed by those awoken. This is a place of Neutrality."
She slipped past Peter and waved a hand, The Nemesis Portal closed and the one to the Dark Kingdom Darkened and became far more solid- more.. mirror like. "Besides. Fighting amongst ourselves is disgraceful and tacky. Thankfully no one has apparently noticed your antics. Now before we give our enemies fuel for thought. Both of you. In. Now."

Another Crown Clown. Death to these fools! Peter, the moment he felt the energy drain, was shaking with fury. "My song shall overcome!" He was snaping his sword out, the blade of darkness emerging, and what would have followed was heard in the battlecry beginning. "WARE WA MESSH" And then his Mistress emerged. He grit his teeth, his own eyes glowing red. "Mistress, she is just like that baleful Clown. I am afraid I can not bring her to work with me. Do I have permission to leave her to her own devices, and return to my studies?"
He bowed at the waist to Chaos once she had spoken. "I hear you, and obey, my song and voice speak as you wish, My Goddess." He moved through the portal swiftly, and once he was inside, made tracks to be anywhere this newcomer was not.
She was not his Celeste. That was all that mattered to him.

When the woman appeared, BC stared at her with narrowed eyes. Her mask hid her annoyance as the girl’s head canted to the side, trying to figure out who she was. The woman…. The shadows around her pressed against the singing man, protecting him from her flames. Who was she? Her voice sent a shiver down her spine. BC shoved both her hands into her pockets, her fire dying down as she spoke. Whoever this woman was, BC wasn’t sure that crossing her today would be wise. The energy she had sent in… was dark and powerful. Nothing like the singing man.
BC didn’t try to hit the woman. The woman was speaking… as if she knew what was going on. She wasn’t trying to be humorous or witty. No, she was just speaking frankly. If this woman truly was the one who summoned her, then BC would listen to what she had to say. As the strange woman came closer, BC felt electric ice run down her spine. The sensation grew as the women dragged her finger up her chin. Herald? That man was her herald? Who was this woman!?
Behind her mask, both eyes narrowed, trying to figure it all out. However, once she mentioned… him, BC’s mind blanked. Travis. Travis was in one of the seats around her? Anger boiled in the pit of her stomach. So, this woman could bring Travis here…? BC liked the sound of that. When she released her chin, the girl rubbed it, finding herself numb in the jaw. Silently, BC followed the two through the portal, still clutching the rose and letter tightly in her hands.
