The Man rose to his feet, kicking clean of the slab, and immediately landed in a crouch, pulling his robes close, and reading his documentation. He was aware of his surroundings, and intent on moving swiftly from here. He was the first to awake he would assume form the numbers. He felt a calling to his blood, the Dark Kingdom and the Nemesis both. The Dark Kingdom first. The Warship could wait. If he had any sense, he would offer his prayers to his Goddess, and her Avatar first. Nanashi was a servant, her Herald. Metallia was her Avatar. Just as Wiseman, and so many others had been.
Nanashi smiled behind silver. The Mentalist himself. Nanashi had been a pretender to him before. It was good to have the real master. Nanashi wished to find and embrace his brother-in-arms posthaste. He snapped to an at ease, Crystal Angeles memories flowing through him. Memories of weapons drills, of orders. Nanashi began the song, a haunting song in the tongue of the long dead Earth Kingdom, before a black rift opened, and he stood before it. "Hear me, pretenders, and fools. I am the Herald of Chaos, her black gauntlet. I will crush you come the morrow!" He addressed them all. And gave a malefic laugh. "But for now, I must attend to my own. Consider this your respite, miserable mice of the Light. You are miserable harlequins, and lowly vermin, barely fit to clean the boots of your betters with your coarse tongues!"
And with that, Nanashi passed into the portal, slamming it shut behind him,
[Nanashi -> Dark Kingdom]

It was rare Apollo's sleep was so peaceful; none of the usual recollections of abduction and torture plagued his mind. This was literally the best rest he'd gotten in years... so of course it had to be interrupted by some a-hole yelling about wanting to crush them all. All who? Who was even saying that? And why was he sleeping on something so hard and unforgiving? He was used to sleeping on a much more comfortable surface, like preferably a human's bed. Golden eyes opened on what looked like a night sky, but with more stars than he could ever remember seeing.
The orange Abyssinian cat yawned and stretched, and out of sheer habit he licked a paw and tried once again in vain to smooth the unruly patch of fur at the top of his head. Only then did his surroundings begin to interest him, with all the lifeless bodies lying on some sort of stadium seats. He saw a dark portal, just in time for it to close behind someone he didn't get a good look at.
"What the hell?" he asked aloud, not expecting any sort of answer. "Where the hell am I?"

Of course there was no reply. Why would there be? Other than a stadium full of people who seemed to be under some kind of sleeping curse, he seemed to be alone here. That part didn't bother Apollo as much as you might think; he wasn't all that comfortable dealing with people in general. But there was just something about the place that made him uneasy. (Certainly the bodies lying around didn't help!) He wanted nothing so much as to get out of there as quickly as possible.
With a deep sigh, the little cat started looking around for some sign of an exit. There didn't seem to be any doors anywhere, unless those weird mirrors up on the stage counted, with their views on very opposite-looking corridors. The inorganic look of the places didn't appeal to Apollo, so he kept looking around. Near the top of the stadium, his sharp kitty eyes caught on to the patterns of planetary symbols. There were many he didn't know- most of them, to be honest- but the symbols for those located in the Sol system were familiar. Did those symbols mark routes to the places they described? He guessed there was only one way to find out...

The bowl opened to a desert that stretched as far as the eye could see. Depending on his shifting point of view, Apollo would be able to see the faint outlines of the different spots, including Elysian's flowering gardens.
And one single figure, silvery with long hair who seemed to be walking aimlessly.

As he ascended the stairs to the top of the bowl, Apollo could just make out the shapes of buildings in the distance. The first one he recognized was the towering, faceted facade of the crystal palace. On Helios' request, that place had been his home for the past few months, but it wasn't his real home. His eyes scanned the horizon further until they settled on another familiar-looking locale. But how could it be? Elysian and Crystal Tokyo had never been nearby each other before. And there had definitely never been any desert nearby either. What sort of place was this? And who was the woman he saw wandering in the distance?
Even as strange and unfamiliar as the situation was (and by now he was starting to wonder if he was still asleep and this was all a dream), the cat took a deep breath and started off in the direction of Elysian, his true home. If this was still a dream, he hoped he wouldn't wake up until after he'd reached the paradise.
[Apollo has left the thread... a little later than expected, but better late than never.]
